(5) Section 1008 (c) is a~ended to read as follows: <br /> "Any water piping installed in or under a concrete <br /> slab resting on the ground, and ferrous water <br /> service pipes installed underground in any location <br /> shall be installed in accordance with the following <br /> requirements: <br /> 1. Ferrous water piping shall have a protective <br /> coating of an approved type, machine applied <br /> and conforming to recognized standards. Field <br /> wrapping or coating may be permitted by the <br /> administrative authority if equivalent pro- <br /> tection is provided. Zinc coating (galvanizing) <br /> shall not be deemed adequate protection for <br /> piping or fittings. <br /> 2. Copper tubing shall be installed without Joints <br /> where possible. ~nere Joints are permitted, they <br /> shall be silver brazed or equal and fittings shall <br /> be wrought copper." <br /> <br />b. Additions. <br /> (1) Section 203 (f) is hereby added to the Adopted Code to <br /> read as follows: "Section 203 (f).
