Box 520 <br /> Pleasanton, CA 94566 <br /> mgruber@cityofpleasantonca.gov <br /> RE: NEVADA STREET IMPROVEMENTS/additional scope and design changes <br /> We appreciate your consideration of these additional services requests. We have <br /> incorporated your feedback however we ask that you reconsider your position on item <br /> 5.1.1. We have added additional back up to the request and have substantially reduced <br /> the overall fees. <br /> Based on the kick-off and Bernal on-site meetings, your 35%and 65% plan comments and <br /> the 35%and 65%comment review meetings, there have been unanticipated items added <br /> to the scope of work and multiple revisions to agreed upon site plan layouts. Some of the <br /> additional items are outside of the designated limit of work shown on the"Limits of Work <br /> Exhibit" included in the original agreement. Other items were not part of the schematic plan <br /> and have been added during the construction document process and required additional <br /> effort based on the unanticipated complexity of the existing roadway. <br /> The following additional services will be provided on this project in accordance with our <br /> agreement dated August 17, 2021 and are considered an amendment thereto: <br /> Scope <br /> 5.1.1 Meetings and 35%Comment Additions: Per the kick-off meeting, Bernal intersection <br /> onsite meeting and 35%comments, the following additional scope items and effort <br /> have been included in the plans up to this point. <br /> a. Base, plan and estimate updates based on design revisions to shed area, <br /> shade structure area, bench pad (removal), central plaza area, fire station <br /> picnic area and curb adjustments. <br /> i. Per the original agreement, the 2.02 Street Alignment and Plan <br /> Linework Revisions task is as follows: Taking the input from the <br /> schematic design phase, BPTC and Parks& Rec Commission, prepare <br /> scaled pdf drawing of Street Alignment and Plan Linework Revisions. <br /> Drawing shall include two options; one option with the on-street <br /> parking 2' door clearance for the north and south side of the street. <br /> The second option, would show the 2' door clearance on the south <br /> side only. Virtual meeting with you discuss the options and confirm the <br /> direction moving forward. <br /> ii.
