A detailed planting plan shall be submitted for the area in front of the garden <br />center that includes a tree species with a larger growing habit than the existing five <br />flowering pear trees, such as Chatalpa tashkandensis, and shall specify tree <br />planting details for the review and approval by the City' s Landscape Architect. <br />New tree wells shall be designed with a decorative, low-maintenance accent plant <br />material, such as Phormium tenax 'Maori Maiden', and two inches of decomposed <br />granite topdressing. The revised planting plan shall be submitted for the review <br />and approval of the City's Landscape Architect prior to the issuance of a building <br />permit for the expansions. <br /> <br />All new wall-mounted lights installed on the stockroom and garden center <br />expansions shall be a cut-off style lamp to minimize light pollution. Details of the <br />lighting shall be submitted for the review and approval of the Planning Director <br />prior to the issuance of a building permit for the expansions. <br /> <br />The proposed employee smoking breakroom is not approved and reference to it <br />removed from the plans submitted for building permit issuance. No employees <br />shall be permitted to smoke inside the store.
