Notify all Commercial Customers in writing two weeks before the Christmas holiday of the <br />dates, time, and places of the holiday tree drop-off area provided in accordance with Section <br />5.14.5 of the Agreement. <br />12. Assist the City with evaluating commercial program participation in conjunction with the <br />StopWaste.Org audits. <br />13. On each bill, Contractor shall include a brief statement to Customers providing service-related <br />announcements such as messages about new services, the on-call clean-up and Bulky Item pick- <br />up services, proper handling of Hazardous Waste, holiday tree Collection, etc. <br />5. SCHOOL OUTREACH <br />Develop and implement a public school education curriculum to teach children, through classroom <br />presentations, how to Recycle and Compost at school and at home. <br />6. ALL SECTORS <br />A. Produce press releases, social media posts, and advertisements tied to specific community events <br />at intervals determined by the City. Press releases shall be developed and reviewed by the City <br />regarding new or enhanced services as needed. Advertisements shall be developed in conjunction <br />with workshops, training programs, etc. <br />B. Conduct educational tours of the Approved Recyclable Materials Processing Facility to familiarize <br />residents, businesses, and school children with the facility’s activities. <br />C. Provide public education materials in English that address the multi-lingual diversity of the City by <br />using visual images and English descriptions supplemented with text on the bottom of the public <br />education document in different languages directing the non-English speaking Customers to <br />telephone a Contractor-provided hotline for help in their native language. Upon City request, <br />Contractor shall prepare up to four (4) public education documents annually in one or more <br />languages and distribute the materials to Single-Family, Multi-Family, and Commercial Customers <br />as specified by the City. Contractor shall arrange for review of the multi-lingual materials by a <br />third party to verify the accuracy and appropriateness of the translations. <br />D. Tailor promotional materials to characteristics and issues associated with particular <br />neighborhoods or business types and distribute such materials to Customers in those <br />neighborhoods or business types. <br />E. Attend at least four community workshops to explain Collection services and respond to <br />questions. <br />F. Prepare and distribute presentation posters for distribution at local and well-trafficked public <br />venues (Public Library, City Hall, Post Office, etc.). <br />G. Develop and maintain a website describing services provided in the City as required by Section <br />6.8.5 of the Agreement, and maintain a social media presence through no less than one (1) social <br />media platform (e.g., Facebook).
