IN THE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $234,467 FOR THE COMPLETION OF AN UPDATE TO A HUMAN SERVICES NEEDS ASSESSMENT FOR EASTERN ALAMEDA COUNTY (DUBLIN, LIVERMORE AND PLEASANTON) SUMMARY JSI Research and Training Institute, Inc. has been selected to conduct an update to the 2011 Eastern Alameda County Human Services Needs Assessment (Needs Assessment) that will assess the current and future conditions of the Tri-Valley region's (Dublin, Livermore and Pleasanton) human services delivery network, identify service and infrastructure gaps, provide implementation plans and identify service priorities for local grant programs. RECOMMENDATION Approve a professional services agreement with JSI Research and Training Institute, Inc. (JSI) in the amount not to exceed $234,467 for the completion of an update to the Human Services Needs Assessment for Eastern Alameda County (Dublin, Livermore and Pleasanton). FINANCIAL STATEMENT The total agreement cost to prepare an update to the human services needs assessment would not exceed $234,467, including a 15 percent contingency. The middle column shows the shared contribution, using no contingency funds: Cost would be shared as follows: City Base Total Contribution using Contribution 100% of Contingency Dublin $67,962 $78,155 Livermore $67,962 $78,155 Pleasanton $67,961 $78,157 Total Project Cost $203,885 $234,467 The City of Pleasanton will act as the fiduciary agent for this project.
