IN THE AMOUNT NOT TO <br /> EXCEED $234,467 FOR THE COMPLETION OF AN UPDATE TO A HUMAN <br /> SERVICES NEEDS ASSESSMENT FOR EASTERN ALAMEDA COUNTY <br /> (DUBLIN, LIVERMORE AND PLEASANTON) <br /> SUMMARY <br /> JSI Research and Training Institute, Inc. has been selected to conduct an update to the <br /> 2011 Eastern Alameda County Human Services Needs Assessment (Needs <br /> Assessment) that will assess the current and future conditions of the Tri-Valley region's <br /> (Dublin, Livermore and Pleasanton) human services delivery network, identify service <br /> and infrastructure gaps, provide implementation plans and identify service priorities for <br /> local grant programs. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Approve a professional services agreement with JSI Research and Training Institute, <br /> Inc. (JSI) in the amount not to exceed $234,467 for the completion of an update to the <br /> Human Services Needs Assessment for Eastern Alameda County (Dublin, Livermore <br /> and Pleasanton). <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The total agreement cost to prepare an update to the human services needs <br /> assessment would not exceed $234,467, including a 15 percent contingency. The <br /> middle column shows the shared contribution, using no contingency funds: Cost would <br /> be shared as follows: <br /> City Base Total Contribution using <br /> Contribution 100% of Contingency <br /> Dublin $67,962 $78,155 <br /> Livermore $67,962 $78,155 <br /> Pleasanton $67,961 $78,157 <br /> Total Project Cost $203,885 $234,467 <br /> The City of Pleasanton will act as the fiduciary agent for this project.
