ATTACHMENT 1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />APPROVING THE ALLOCATION OF $552,772 OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON'S <br />SHARE OF ALAMEDA COUNTY MEASURE Al HOUSING BOND FUNDS TO TRI - <br />VALLEY REACH AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE RELATED <br />DOCUMENTS <br />WHEREAS, the Alameda County Measure Al Housing Bonds (the Bonds) are a $580 <br />million countywide program to fund programs related to homeownership and rental housing <br />development; and <br />WHEREAS, from these Bonds, $13.7 million has been allocated to the City of Pleasanton <br />for rental housing development (the Base City Allocation); and <br />WHEREAS, while most of the City's Base City Allocation has already been expended for <br />Kottinger Gardens Phase 2 and Sunflower Hill, the City wants to direct the remaining $552,772 <br />of the Base City Allocation to Tri -Valley REACH for it to construct, with Hello Housing, two <br />accessory dwelling units to provide affordable housing for persons with developmental disabilities. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br />SECTION 1. Authorizes the allocation of $552,772 of the Base City Allocation of <br />Alameda County Measure Al Housing Bonds to Tri -Valley REACH for the construction, in <br />conjunction with Hello Housing, of two accessory dwelling units, orjunior accessory dwelling units, <br />at its existing homes, to provide affordable housing to four residents with developmental <br />disabilities. <br />SECTION 2.
