rrm EXHIBIT A desi•In group Ken Mercer Sports Park Skatepark Construction Documents Scope of Services PROJECT BACKGROUND RRM Design Group and Wormhoudt Inc. worked with the City on the community-driven conceptual design for the renovation of the Ken Mercer Skatepark. The design and outreach process took place from May 2021 through January 2022. The final conceptual design was approved by City Council on March 15, 2022 with phasing and bid alternates to be determined as part of this current scope of work. The City's budget for the construction of the skatepark and surrounding amenities is a total of$6 million which will include $5 million for the base improvements and $1 million of bid alternates. SCOPE OF SERVICE,; Task A: Skatepark Final Design RRM and their subconsultants will prepare construction documents, also known as plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) for the final design of the skatepark and surrounding amenities. The contents of the PS&E package will be as follows: Title and Reference Sheets Title and reference sheets pursuant to City standards. Demolition Plan Demolition plans for structures and elements requiring removal in order to implement the skatepark design. The plans will locate, identify, and describe the removal and provide instructions for disposal. Additionally, the plans will indicate items to salvage or stockpile, such as topsoil, for later use in construction. Erosion Control Plan Erosion control plan for the proposed design that illustrates erosion prevention, sediment control, and stormwater quality management during construction.
