rrm <br /> EXHIBIT A <br /> desi•In <br /> group <br /> Ken Mercer Sports Park Skatepark Construction Documents <br /> Scope of Services <br /> PROJECT BACKGROUND <br /> RRM Design Group and Wormhoudt Inc. worked with the City on the community-driven <br /> conceptual design for the renovation of the Ken Mercer Skatepark. The design and outreach <br /> process took place from May 2021 through January 2022. The final conceptual design was <br /> approved by City Council on March 15, 2022 with phasing and bid alternates to be determined <br /> as part of this current scope of work. The City's budget for the construction of the skatepark <br /> and surrounding amenities is a total of$6 million which will include $5 million for the base <br /> improvements and $1 million of bid alternates. <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICE,; <br /> Task A: Skatepark Final Design <br /> RRM and their subconsultants will prepare construction documents, also known as plans, <br /> specifications, and estimates (PS&E) for the final design of the skatepark and surrounding <br /> amenities. The contents of the PS&E package will be as follows: <br /> Title and Reference Sheets <br /> Title and reference sheets pursuant to City standards. <br /> Demolition Plan <br /> Demolition plans for structures and elements requiring removal in order to implement the <br /> skatepark design. The plans will locate, identify, and describe the removal and provide <br /> instructions for disposal.
