2. Information on methods for the prevention of Organic Waste and <br /> Recyclable Materials generation; managing Organic Waste on Generator's <br /> Premises through composting or other Landfill Disposal reduction <br /> activities allowed under 14 CCR Sections 18983.1 and 18983.2; sending <br /> Organic Waste to Community Composting operations; and any other local <br /> requirements regarding Discarded Materials requested by the City. <br /> 3. Information regarding the methane reduction benefits of reducing the <br /> Disposal of Organic Waste, and the method(s) that the Contractor uses to <br /> recover Organic Waste. <br /> 4. Information regarding how to recover Source Separated Recyclable <br /> Materials and Organic Waste, and a list of haulers approved by the City. <br /> 5. Information related to the public health and safety and environmental <br /> impacts associated with the Disposal of Organic Waste. <br /> 6. If requested by the City, information regarding the City's Edible Food <br /> Recovery programs; <br /> 7. Information regarding Self-Hauling requirements. <br /> 8. Any other federal, State, or local requirements to properly separate <br /> Discarded Materials or other necessary actions by Generators, including <br /> applicable requirements of the Municipal Code, AB 341, AB 1826, SB <br /> 1383, and other Applicable Law. <br /> B. Education Materials for Property and Business Owners and Tenants. <br /> Contractor shall, not less than annually, provide Property Owners and <br /> Commercial Business owners with public education materials for their distribution <br /> to all employees, contractors, tenants, and Customers of the properties and <br /> businesses. The Contractor's public education materials shall include, at a <br /> minimum, information about Organic Waste recovery requirements and proper <br /> sorting of Discarded Materials, and shall reflect content requirements described <br /> below. A Commercial Business or Multi-Family Property Owner may request <br /> these materials more frequently than the standard annual provision if needed to <br /> comply with the requirement of 14 CCR Section 18984.10 for Commercial <br /> Businesses and Multi-Family Property Owners to provide educational information <br /> to new tenants and employees before or within fourteen (14) days of occupation <br /> of the Premises. In this case, the Commercial Business or Multi-Family Property <br /> Owner may request delivery of materials by contacting the Contractor's customer <br /> service department not later than two (2) weeks in advance of the date that the <br /> materials are needed. <br /> C. Commercial Edible Food Generators. Upon City request, Contractor shall <br /> support City in distributing education materials developed by the City or its <br /> Page 14 of 22 <br />
