be made within five days of the date of said sale or transfer. <br />It shall be the duty of the purchaser or transferee of such <br />bicycle to apply for a transfer of license therefor within five <br />days of said sale or transfer. <br /> <br /> SECTION 5. STICKER. The City of Pleasanton shall pro- <br />vide and affix to each licensed bicycle, a numbered reflective <br />sticker, and shall keep appropriate records regarding said <br />bicycle and ownership. <br /> <br /> SECTION 6. MUTILATION° It shall be unlawful for any <br />person to wilfully or maliciously remove, destroy, mutilate or <br />alter the manufacturer~s or other identification number on a <br /> <br />frame of any bicycle licensed pursuant to this ordinance. It <br /> <br />shall also be unlawful for any person to remove, destroy, <br /> <br />mutilate or alter any license sticker during the tirae in which <br />such license sticker is applicable. The City of Pleasanton may <br />stamp numbers on the frames of 'bicycles on which no serial <br />number can be found, or on which said number is illegible or <br />insufficient for identification purposes. <br /> <br /> SECTION 7. OPERATION. No person shall operate a bicycle <br />within the City in a manner which endangers the life or limb of <br />any pedestrian. No person shall park or let stand, or leave <br />unattended, a bicycle upon the public sidewalks of the City so <br />to block or interfere with the use of said sidewalks by any <br />pedes tr ian. <br /> <br /> SECTION 8. LIGHTS° It shall be unlawful for any person <br />to operate a bicycle upon any street, alley or public highway <br />after sunset without having one white light showing to the front <br />and one red reflector visible from the rear. <br /> <br /> SECTION 9. PENALTY. Every person, firm or corporation <br />vislating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed <br />guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be punishable <br /> <br /> <br />
