3 CITY OF PLEASANTON CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES January 18, 2022 This meeting was conducted in accordance with Governor Newsom's Executive Order N-29-20 and AB 361 COVID-19 pandemic protocols. SPECIAL MEETING Mayor Brown called the teleconferenced special meeting of the City Council from various remote locations to order at the hour of 6:30 p.m. ROLL CALL Present: Councilmembers Arkin, Balch, Narum, Testa, Mayor Brown Absent: None PUBLIC COMMENT — None. ADJOURN TO CLOSED SESSION FOR THE FOLLOWING: 1. CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATORS per Gov't Code §54956.8: Properties: 401-403 Old Bernal Avenue Agency negotiator: Brian Dolan, Interim City Manager Negotiating parties: Kelly S. Djokovic and Sandra L. Neary Under negotiation: Price and terms of payment of sale 2. CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATORS per Gov't Code §54956.8: Properties: 4884 Harrison Street Agency negotiator: Brian Dolan, Interim City Manager Negotiating parties: Kelly S. Djokovic and Sandra L. Neary Under negotiation: Price and terms of payment of purchase CLOSED SESSION REPORT City Attorney Dan Sodergren advised there was no reportable action. ADJOURNMENT —The special meeting adjourned at 6:48 p.m. REGULAR MEETING Mayor Brown called the teleconferenced regular meeting of the City Council from various remote locations to order at the hour of 7:07 p.m. Councilmember Balch led the Pledge of Allegiance and provided opening remarks. ROLL CALL Present: Councilmembers Arkin, Balch, Narum, Testa, Mayor Brown Absent: None AGENDA AMENDMENTS Councilmember Balch requested Item 12 be continued to a future City Council meeting. He reported writing an advice letter to the California Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) and has not yet received a reply leaving him unsure of a potential need to recuse.
