6. Vacation Leave. Beaudin shall accrue vacation leave at the rate of fifteen(15) <br /> days annually, as set forth in the Management Compensation plan for employees with five years <br /> of service. Accrual of vacation leave may increase with additional years of service as provided <br /> in the Management Compensation Plan. Vacation accrual is capped at four hundred(400)hours. <br /> At any time Beaudin reaches four hundred(400)hours, Beaudin shall cease accruing vacation <br /> until such time as his balance falls below the cap. Beaudin is not entitled to sell back accrued <br /> vacation. <br /> 7. Administrative Leave. Beaudin shall be credited with ten(10) days of <br /> administrative leave annually,to be administered as provided in the Management Compensation <br /> Plan. <br /> 8. Vehicle/Cell Phone. Beaudin may select either a car allowance of$550 monthly <br /> or a vehicle furnished by City. Beaudin shall have the exclusive and unrestricted use of such <br /> vehicle,but it shall not be driven by any members of Beaudin's family. Beaudin shall pay for his <br /> own gasoline. The City shall insure and register such vehicle, and provide regular maintenance <br /> of the vehicle. If Beaudin is involved in an automobile accident for which Beaudin is <br /> determined to have been at fault, Beaudin shall pay any deductible to repair such vehicle as set <br /> forth in the Bay Cities Joint Powers Insurance Authority's Pooled Auto Physical Damage <br /> Program Memorandum of Coverage. City shall also provide Beaudin with the equipment <br /> (including a cell phone),technology,and associated service charges related to the use of this <br /> technology and equipment necessary for City business. <br /> 9. Professional Memberships, Conferences, and Development. City shall pay for <br /> Beaudin's professional membership in the International City/County Management Association, <br /> the California City Management Foundation, and the California League of Cities(Cal Cities). In <br /> addition, City shall pay for Beaudin to attend professional conferences of such organizations <br /> pursuant to the City's Travel Policy. City shall also pay for an executive coach of Beaudin's <br /> choosing, which shall be reevaluated during Beaudin's annual performance evaluation. <br /> 10. Performance Evaluation. The City Council shall meet annually(using Beaudin's <br /> start date in May) in order to conduct a formal, facilitated,performance and salary evaluation. <br /> Additionally,the City Council shall meet after Beaudin's first six months of employment in <br /> order to conduct an informal performance evaluation/discussion. <br /> 11. Resignation. If Beaudin decides to terminate this Contract,Beaudin will provide <br /> City 30 days written notice. <br /> 12. Termination. Beaudin serves as City Manager at the pleasure of the City Council <br /> and either party may terminate this Contract at any time. If City decides to terminate this <br /> Contract, City will provide Beaudin written notice of such termination. <br />
