Public Hearings to consider Certification of the FEIR and Adoption of the Housing <br /> Element: Estimated March-May 2023 <br /> PUBLIC NOTICE AND COMMENTS <br /> This item was identified in the Pleasanton Weekly's "Agenda Highlights" for upcoming public <br /> meetings, and an email notification was sent to all interested parties who have signed up on <br /> the Housing Element website: pleasantonhousingelement.com. <br /> In addition, as required by CEQA, the Notice of Preparation was distributed to various State, <br /> regional and local agencies, neighboring jurisdictions, to the State Office of Planning and <br /> Research (OPR), to the County Clerk, and published on the City's website. <br /> Staff has not received any public comments at time of agenda report publication. Written <br /> comments on the scope of the 6th Cycle Housing Element EIR may be submitted via email or <br /> mail throughout the 30-day scoping period, which runs until May 5, 2022. Comments <br /> recei ed from the general public and from the applicable federal, state, and local agencies will <br /> be al dressed in the "Response to Comments" section of the Final Programmatic EIR (FEIR). <br /> The ' EIR will then be forwarded to the Planning Commission for review and recommendation <br /> to the City Council. The City Council will determine whether to certify the FEIR as complete <br /> acco ding to CEQA requirements.
