3 <br /> This proposed amendment to our current Professional Services Agreement, executed on August 4, <br /> 2020, extends the scope of the original agreement to include the following additional scope of work. <br /> As of December 31,2021,VMWP estimates$19,714.05 of the original contract will remain and <br /> may be used towards additional scope listed below. <br /> 1. Scope of Work <br /> The contract amendment is proposed to extend the 7 tasks included in the original agreement with 4 <br /> additional tasks requested by Community Development Department Staff: <br /> • Task 3a: Creation of Objective Design Standards for multifamily development and to extend <br /> Standards to multifamily development outside the Downtown Pleasanton Revitalization district, <br /> using key principles from the existing Downtown Design Guidelines (ie: R-M and MU-T zoned <br /> sites outside of the Downtown area not already subject to the Housing Site ODS) <br /> • Task 7b:•Housing Element Test-Fit Studies <br /> • Task 8: Revisions to Housing Objective Design Standards to coordinate with the final Housing <br /> Element <br /> Task 3a: Revision of Existing Downtown Design Guidelines to Incorporate Objective <br /> Design Standards and Extend Multifamily Standards Citywide <br /> VMWP will review the Residential Guidelines and Other Guidelines sections contained in the <br /> Pleasanton Downtown Design Guidelines(p.34-43,version as amended August 2019)and work with <br /> Staff to prioritize specific guidelines for conversion into Objective Standards for multifamily <br /> development.Where it is not possible to convert prioritized guidelines into Objective Standards, <br /> VMWP will propose alternative approaches for evaluation by the Planning Commission. Additional <br /> Standards will be developed through consultation with Staff to address omissions in the Downtown <br /> Design Guidelines. These standards will be incorporated into a separate but complimentary <br /> document to the DDG. <br /> The Pleasanton Municipal Code language will be amended using fee from Task 3 of the existing <br /> contract to extend the applicability of certain revised multifamily Standards beyond the Downtown <br /> Pleasanton Revitalization district(PMC 18.74.020)to cover all multifamily development not already <br /> covered by the Objective Standards for Housing Sites.VMWP will work with staff to develop <br /> applicability and ensure a lighter regulatory touch for R-M and MU-T sites located outside the <br /> Downtown Pleasanton Revitalization district. <br /> Allowances: <br /> 0 Graphics allowance: additional diagrams for DDG to illustrate new standards: <br /> o 5 @ $1,000 per diagram <br /> Total:$17,500+$5,000 graphics allowance=$22,500 <br />
