11. <br /> <br />The applicant shall submit detailed landscape and irrigation plans for the <br />landscape berm, subject to the review and approval of the Planning Director <br />and City Landscape Architect, as part of the improvement plans. The <br />irrigation plan shall provide for automatic controls. <br /> <br />Construction Practices and Activities <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />All site improvements and house construction activities shall be limited to <br />the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. All <br />construction equipment must meet DMV noise standards and shall be <br />equipped with muffling devices. <br /> <br />13. <br /> <br />At no time shall campers, trailers, motor homes, or any other vehicle be <br />used as living or sleeping quarters on the construction site. All such <br />vehicles shall be removed from the site at the end of each work day. <br /> <br />14. <br /> <br />The haul route for all materials to and from this development shall be <br />approved by the City Engineer prior to the issuance of an encroachment <br />permit. <br /> <br />15. <br /> <br />If archeological materials are uncovered during grading, trenching, or other <br />on-site excavation, all work on site shall be stopped and the City <br />immediately notified. The county coroner and the Native American <br />Heritage Commission shall also be notified and procedures followed as <br />required in Appendix K of the California Environmental Quality Act. A <br />similar note shall appear on the improvement plans. <br /> <br />16. <br /> <br />Portable toilets used during construction shall be kept as far as possible <br />from existing residences and shall be emptied on a regular basis as <br />necessary to prevent odor. <br /> <br />17. <br /> <br />The developer shall submit a dust control plan as part of the improvement <br />plans. This plan shall include the following measures in order to avoid <br />adverse impacts on air quality during construction: <br /> <br />All active unpaved construction areas shall be watered at least twice daily or <br />treated with non-toxic soil stabilizers in order to avoid dust. Exposed <br />stockpiles of dirt or sand shall be enclosed, covered, watered twice daily, or <br />treated with non-toxic soil binders. <br /> <br />If soil material is carded on public or private roads, such roads shall be swept <br />daily with water sweepers to control dust, where applicable. <br /> <br />Page 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
