ATTACHMENT 6
Megan Campbell
Subject: Planning division -P20-1053
From: Dawn Chatham
Sent: Monday, November 29, 20213:00 PM
To: Megan Campbell <j,icampbell@cityofpleasantonc ova
Subject: Planning division -P20-1053
I'm writing to express my concerns for the proposed residential unit behind 218 Ray Street. I am a 12 -year resident of
Walnut Drive, which lies perpendicular to the stated property. My biggest concern for the proposed unit is the current
tenant's lack of parking availability for their staff and patients. Walnut Drive has historically had parking issues, and in
2013, the residents of Walnut Drive petitioned the city and its attorneys to change our street to "permit parking only"
on weekdays during business hours to deter local businesses from using our residential, and very narrow street, for
their parking purposes. This continues to be an issue with the current business located at 218 Ray Street. The safety of
our children, who often play outside, not to mention the accessibility of our homes by fire trucks, are of significant
concern to me. With proposed construction of a unit behind the business, I'm afraid that would reduce their number of
parking spaces and impact our residential street. Therefore, I don't support this project unless the owners of the
business provide ample parking for their staff and patients elsewhere.
Thank you,
Dawn Chatham
= Walnut Dr, Pleasanton, CA 94566
Click here to report this email as spam.
