66497 of the California Government Code, a provision that requires sufficient <br /> durable survey monuments to allow the subdivision to be retraced. <br /> 52. UNDERGROUND UTILITIES FOR NEW HOUSES: All new utilities to serve the <br /> proposed houses shall be installed underground. <br /> 53. UTILITY UNDERGROUNDING ON MARTIN AVENUE: The existing overhead joint <br /> pole utilities along the Martin Avenue frontage shall either be placed underground <br /> by the applicant, or the applicant shall deposit funds with the City in an amount <br /> proportional to the applicant's share of the total cost of a future City-sponsored <br /> undergrounding project. The existing joint pole utilities extend on the west side of <br /> Martin Avenue from south of Ternary Drive to the northern cul-de-sac bulb. The <br /> applicant's in-lieu contribution will be $36,770. <br /> 54. FULL TRASH CAPTURE DEVICES: The applicant shall install trash capture <br /> device at proposed storm drain inlet on Martin Avenue. Stormwater treatment <br /> controls, proposed in compliance with Provision C.3 of NPDES Permit No. <br /> CAS612008, shall also prevent the discharge of trash to the downstream <br /> municipal separate storm sewer systems and receiving waters. Discharge points <br /> from these treatment control facilities, including overflows, shall be appropriately <br /> screened (5 mm mesh screen) or otherwise configured to meet the full trash <br /> capture screening specification for storm flows up to the full trash capture 1-year, <br /> 1-hour storm hydraulic specification, in compliance with the NPDES Permit. The <br /> applicant shall submit a Stormwater Management Plan as part of the <br /> improvement plans prepared by a California licensed civil engineer, which <br /> include but is not limited to the type, location, and sizing calculations of the <br /> treatment controls that will be installed. Full trash capture devices shall be a part <br /> of the "Stormwater Treatment Measures and Maintenance Agreement". <br /> 55. DROUGHT RESTRICTIONS: If the City Council declares a drought during a <br /> time when this development is under construction, as described in §9.30.010 et <br /> seq. of the Pleasanton Municipal Code, the applicant shall utilize only recycled <br /> water under Stage 1 or greater restrictions for all construction-related water <br /> needs. <br /> FIRE DEPARTMENT — 925-454-2361 <br /> The Fire Prevention Bureau reviews building/civil drawings for conceptual on-site fire <br /> mains and fire hydrant locations only. Plan check comments and approval DO NOT <br /> include: 1.) Installation of the on-site fire mains and fire hydrants. Specific installation <br /> drawings submitted by the licensed underground fire protection contractor shall be <br /> submitted to the Fire Prevention Bureau for approval; and 2.) Backflow prevention or <br /> connections to the public water mains. <br /> 56. FIRE HAZARDS: The project developer shall keep the site free of fire hazards <br /> from the start of lumber construction until the final inspection. <br />
