<br /> This note is in response to your Notice of Public Hearing dated January 14, 2022 on the
<br /> subject application.
<br /> This is an old story. About a dozen years ago, the Baptist Church applied for a permit for a
<br /> school on church property and was told to check with the neighbors to determine their
<br /> interest in such a change in use and zoning. The response was so negative, for the obvious
<br /> reasons, the application was withdrawn.
<br /> We are all very proud of our heritage neighborhood, and remain opposed to any incongruous,
<br /> non-residential uses. The lack of on-site parking, available street parking, traffic congestion,
<br /> noise, and loitering are all negative impacts. One school on Second St. is enough.
<br /> As before, we hope that this proposal is not given serious consideration.
