<br /> Application for a conditional use permit to establish a ladies health and fitness center
<br /> within an existing building located at 4807 Hopyard Road, Suites 1-4 (Gateway Square
<br /> Shopping Center). Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) -
<br /> Industrial/Commercial - Offices District.
<br /> Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval of Case UP-91-75, subject to
<br /> the conditions of the staff report. He clarified that staff does concur with the sound
<br /> attenuation and parking measures as discussed with the applicant.
<br /> THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED.
<br /> Ira Jones, 4807 Hopyard Road, represented the application. He thanked staff for working
<br /> with them and felt the staff report was very good. He stated he has reviewed the staff
<br /> conditions and concurs with them.
<br /> Commissioner Michelotti asked the applicant if the fitness center is strictly a "ladies only"
<br /> center. Mr. Jones affirmed that it is and will remain so.
