1 <br />Jennifer Hagen <br />From: <br />Sent:Tuesday, January 18, 2022 12:40 PM <br />To:Jennifer Hagen <br />Subject:Housing Element Plan Update <br />Ms. Hagen, <br /> <br />We have reviewed the housing plan update and are opposed to the potential rezoning of the Tri-Valley Inn to <br />allow for residential redevelopment, based on the following: <br /> Among the medium-density sites listed in the proposal, it appears that only the Tri-Valley site is <br />directly adjacent to single-family housing. The others are either vacant or in a mixed-use <br />environment. <br /> The additional noise and traffic that a redeveloped site would bring with it would negatively impact <br />those properties that are directly adjacent to the Tri-Valley Inn and affect the overall neighborhood of <br />Shearwater Ct. <br /> The number of additional units gained from rezoning the Tri-Valley Inn is minimal in the overall <br />plan.
