EXHIBIT A-SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> City of Pleasanton <br /> Sewer Collection System Hydraulic Model Development, Capacity Evaluation, and Related Studies <br /> The scope of services presented below details Woodard &Curran's proposed work plan to develop a <br /> hydraulic model for the City of Pleasanton's sewer collection system and use the model to evaluate the <br /> capacity of the system. This project will provide updated information and analyses to assess the current <br /> capacity and hydraulic performance of the City's collection system, identify any needed improvements to <br /> address existing or projected future system capacity needs, and provide a tool for conducting additional <br /> model investigations, development reviews, and other studies. The project methodology and results will be <br /> summarized in an overall Capacity Evaluation Report. <br /> This scope of services is based upon the City's Request for Proposals and similar studies conducted by <br /> Woodard &Curran for other cities and agencies. <br /> Scope of Services <br /> The scope of work provides a description of each task and subtask and the anticipated deliverables. In <br /> addition to maps and tables listed as specific deliverables, analysis methodologies, assumptions, and <br /> results will be presented and discussed at project progress meetings, including demonstrations of the <br /> hydraulic model used in the project, as appropriate. <br /> Task 1 —Project Management and Coordination <br /> Subtask 1.1 - Project Coordination. This subtask includes overall project coordination and management <br /> for the duration of the project. This includes tracking of project budget and schedule, monthly project <br /> progress reports to the City team, subconsultant coordination, and coordination with City staff and other <br /> project stakeholders and associated agencies, including the Dublin-San Ramon Services District. <br /> Subtask 1.2- Kickoff and Progress Meetings. Woodard &Curran will conduct a kickoff meeting with <br /> City staff to discuss the project scope, approach, schedule and assumptions, communications protocol and <br /> initial data needs for moving forward with the project activities. In addition to frequent contact via email and <br /> telephone, Woodard &Curran will participate in periodic progress meetings with the City to discuss <br /> progress to date, findings, outstanding issues and next steps. Progress meetings will be scheduled as <br /> needed during the course of the study and may be conducted by teleconference and/or webinar as <br /> appropriate. <br /> Subtask 1.3—Quality AssurancelQuality Control. Woodard & Curran will review deliverables in <br /> accordance with its Quality Management Manual and conduct an internal Senior Technical Approach <br /> Review(STAR)workshop at the beginning of the project. (Note: Budget for deliverables review is included <br /> under respective tasks.) <br /> Task 1 Deliverables: <br /> • Agendas and meeting minutes for the kickoff meeting and project progress meetings <br /> • Monthly invoices and project progress reports <br /> • Project schedule updates <br /> Woodard &Curran -1- 12/20/21 <br />
