EXHIBIT A- SCOPE OF SERVICES
Task 5—Supplemental Modeling Investigations and Other Studies
Under this task, the City will identify additional studies and investigations that will make use of the hydraulic
model developed for this project. Up to ten (10) such studies are included in this scope of services, which
may include the following:
• Long-term convenance and pumping configurations associated with the East Amador Lift Station
and Trunk and Relief Sewers, including which planning scenarios would drive the need for
improvements to these facilities
• Sewer conveyance planning for future development associated with the East Pleasanton Specific
Plan
• Sewer conveyance planning for re-directing Ruby Hill flows to DSRSD
Woodard & Curran will work with City engineering, operations, and planning staff to identify the specific
issues and questions that need to be addressed in each study and develop an appropriate approach to the
investigations using the data, criteria, and modeling tools developed in previous tasks. It is anticipated that
the level of effort for these studies may vary depending on the complexity of the issues involved. For
purposes of estimating the budget for this task, an average level of effort of 24 hours per study is assumed.
Task 5 Deliverables:
• Draft and final TMs for each supplemental investigation/study, including data, assumptions,
modeling and analysis results, and recommendations
Task 6—Capacity Evaluation Report
This task involves compiling the work summarized in previous TMs into an overall Capacity Evaluation
Report. As an optional task, Woodard &Curran will also develop and deliver a web-based model viewer
program for use by City staff after completion of this project.
Subtask 6.1 —Capacity Evaluation Report. Woodard & Curran will compile the TMs prepared for this
study into a Capacity Evaluation report. The report appendices will contain supporting data including flow
monitoring data plots; parcel land use and flow summary tables; model calibration graphs; model data and
results tables; improvement project descriptions, maps, and cost estimates; and other pertinent information.
The report will also include an Executive Summary section that can be extracted as a stand-alone
document and provided to City Council members or other interested parties.
Subtask 6.2—Model Viewer(Optional). Woodard &Curran will provide a web-based model viewer for use
by City staff in viewing hydraulic model results for existing and future growth scenarios. The viewer will
allow viewing of all modeled infrastructure on a suitable GIS base map along with attribute data, model
flows for various scenarios, and recommended improvement projects. The viewer will be developed using
ArcGIS Online. Woodard &Curran will assist the City in installing the viewer. As an option, Woodard &
Curran will "host"the viewer on its own web server.
Task 6 Deliverables:
• Draft and final Capacity Evaluation report
• Model viewer(optional)
Woodard &Curran -7- 12/20/21
