THE CITY OP <br />PLEASANTON. <br />3 <br />CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br />January 4, 2022 <br />Finance <br />TITLE: APPROVE AGREEMENT WITH ACCOUNTING PRINCIPALS, INC., DBA <br />ADO PROFESSIONAL SOLUTIONS, INC., FOR TEMPORARY <br />ACCOUNTING STAFFING SERVICES <br />SUMMARY <br />The Finance Department (Department) uses temporary staffing to backfill employees on <br />an extended leave or to backfill vacancies until the Department hires a permanent <br />replacement. The Department has been primarily using Accounting Principals for those <br />services since 2016 and has been satisfied with the work product of the employees <br />placed by Accounting Principals. The City's current contract with Accounting Principals <br />expires on December 31, 2021. The proposed contract will be for five years. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />Approve and authorize the City Manager to finalize and sign a five-year contract with <br />Accounting Principals Inc., dba ADO Professional Solutions, Inc. for up to $300,000 for <br />temporary staffing services. <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />The Finance Department's budget includes funding for temporary staffing services. <br />
