CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 404 <br /> <br /> AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE NO. 309 (Zoning <br /> Ordinance) CONCERNING INDUSTRIAL PARK <br /> DISTRICT <br /> <br /> The City Council of the City of Pleasanton does hereby ordain <br />as follows: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. Section 14.100 is hereby amended to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> "14.100 The I-P District shall encourage development <br /> so that the lands, arrangement of buildings, architec- <br /> ture, structures, landscaping and activities are, to <br /> the extent reasonably possible without interfering with <br /> the primary purpose of any permitted use, compatible <br /> with surrounding districts. Uses shall be limited <br /> to a low concentration, with suitable open space. The <br /> external effects of the land use shall be carried on <br /> in an unobtrusive manner without undue detriment to <br /> any nearby uses." <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. Paragragh 14.200 is hereby amended to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> "14. 200 Permitted Uses. <br /> a. 'Li'ght manufacturing, processing, packaging, treatment <br /> or fabrication of goods and merchandise. <br /> <br /> b. Offices, professional, business or administrative. <br /> <br /> c. Laboratories, commercial, testing, research, <br /> experimental or other, including pilot plants. <br /> <br /> d. Storage and warehousing. <br /> <br /> e. Sales at whole sale of products manufactured, <br /> stored, displayed or otherwise available for distribu- <br /> tion." <br /> <br /> SECTION 3. Section 14.300 is hereby amended to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> "14. 300 Accessory Uses. <br /> a o Inc'idental services for employees when conducted <br /> entirely within the building of a permitted use, if <br /> entirely enclosed. <br /> <br /> b. Railroad sidetracks, together with ancillary storage <br /> areas and required loading and discharging equipment <br /> and structures, and trucking and motor freight loading <br /> and discharging facilities, as necessary to serve a <br /> permitted use. <br /> <br /> c. Public utility structures and uses necessary to <br /> serve a permitted use. <br /> <br /> d. Other accessary uses and buildings customary to a <br /> permitted use." <br /> <br /> - 1 - <br /> <br /> <br />
