b. The Fire Department Connection (FDC) shall be relocated as determined by <br /> the Fire Marshall. <br /> <br />33. <br /> <br />An Early Suppression Fast Response (ESFR) type fire sprinkler system or a <br />high-density conventional sprinkler system shall be installed in the high bay <br />storage portion of the building. If an ESFR system is used, the existing heat <br />and smoke vents in the roof shall be removed and the roof shall be restored. <br /> <br />The non-fire sprinklered areas of the building (office, fire booster pump room, <br />main switch gear room, etc.) shall be retrofitted per City Ordinance. <br /> <br />Fire Department hose outlets shall be installed in the high bay storage area at <br />Fire Department person access doors specified by the Fire Marshall. <br /> <br />The fire sprinkler piping in the low bay storage area of the building shall be <br />attached to the building to meet Code requirements for a seismic event. <br /> <br />The applicant shall attempt to install the new diesel-powered fire booster pump inside the <br />building. Design review approval shall be required if the new diesel-powered emergency <br />fire pump is proposed to be installed on the outside of the building. The fire booster <br />pump shall comply with the Municipal Code noise standards. The fire booster pump <br />shall only be tested between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through <br />Saturday. Water rrm-off during testing shall be conveyed to a storm drain(s) acceptable <br />to the Fire Marshall and City Engineer. <br /> <br /> <br />
