<br /> <br />Protecting the infrastructure <br />through innovative <br />Corrosion Engineering Solutions <br /> <br />JDH Corrosion Consultants, Inc. <br /> <br />Attachment A <br />JDH Corrosion Consultants <br />Pleasanton PFAS Treatment and Wells Rehabilitation Project <br />Scope of Work <br /> <br /> <br />This scope of services defines the corrosion engineering design services for the City of Pleasanton – PFAS <br />Treatment and Wells Rehabilitation Project. The Project includes the following facilities. <br /> <br />· Approximately 1/4-mile pipeline with 20” diameter <br />· Approximately 1-mile pipeline with 18” & 14” diameters <br />· 11 MGD centralized treatment facility <br />· New Well 9 <br />· New Well 10 <br />· Rehabilitation of Well 8 <br /> <br />Our scope of work includes the following: <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />Task 1 – Project Management <br /> <br />1. Attend Project Kickoff Meeting. <br /> <br />2. Attend Preliminary Design Meetings. <br /> <br />3. Attend Final Design Meetings. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Task 2 – Preliminary Design <br /> <br />1. Site alignment reconnaissance to identify suitable locations for cathodic protection system facilities, such <br />as: access to AC power for above grade rectifier and sufficient clearance for deep anode drill rig operation <br />and staging. <br /> <br />2. Review Geotechnical Consultant exploration plan and coordinate sample collection for laboratory testing. <br />Review Geotechnical boring logs. <br /> <br />3. Collect soil samples from the project Geotechnical Consultant, who will be collecting soil samples as a <br />part of their soil investigation along the proposed pipeline alignments for chemical analysis. <br /> <br />The soil samples will be collected by the Geotechnical Consultant from pipe depth and transferred to <br />CERCO Analytical, Inc., located in Concord, CA for chemical analysis. The soil samples will be analyzed <br />for pH, chlorides, sulfates, resistivity, and Redox potential using ASTM test methods as detailed in the <br />table below. These soil samples will be tested by a state certified testing laboratory, CERCO Analytical,
