THE CITY OF 1 0 <br /> - - � CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLEASANTON. <br /> December 7, 2021 <br /> Engineering <br /> TITLE: APPROVE AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br /> AGREEMENT WITH DUDEK FOR DESIGN SERVICES IN THE AMOUNT <br /> OF $21,875 FOR THE DOWNHILL-ONLY MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAIL AT <br /> AUGUSTIN BERNAL PARK PROJECT, CIP NO. 20771 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> On August 4, 2020, City Council approved an agreement with Dudek for environmental <br /> services for the Augustin Bernal Downhill-Only Mountain Bike Trail Project, CIP No. <br /> 20771 . Then on November 17, 2020, City Council approved an amendment to the <br /> agreement for Dudek to provide design services in addition to environmental services <br /> for the trail. The design and environmental services are now nearing completion, but <br /> due to recent input during the environmental process, additional services are needed. <br /> Staff recommends approving a second amendment to the agreement with Dudek in the <br /> not-to-exceed amount of$21,875 to finalize the mitigated negative declaration and trail <br /> design and to prepare a stormwater pollution prevention plan that will be implemented <br /> during construction. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1. Authorize the City Manager to approve Amendment No. 2 to the professional <br /> services agreement with Dudek in the not-to-exceed amount of $21,875 <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There is $130,000 budgeted in CIP No. 20771 for the design and construction of the <br /> Augustin Bernal Mountain Bike Trail. The original agreement, the first amendment, and <br /> this second amendment increase the encumbered amount to $90,695, leaving a <br /> balance of $39,305 available for construction. Funding and anticipated project <br /> expenditures for CIP No. 20771 are detailed in Attachment 1. <br />
