Concerns from the District will be submitted in writing through the <br />Superintendent's Office and the site and district staff will work in collaboration <br />with the Police Department to support and provide evidence as needed through <br />the investigation. The CITY's investigation will be conducted in accordance with <br />its own applicable rules and procedures. <br />17. The CITY and DISTRICT will provide an annual update at the joint City <br />Council/School Trustee meeting to the governing bodies. <br />B. AGREEMENT ADMINISTRATOR <br />The Pleasanton Police Department's SRO program manager, acting through the <br />Chief of Police or other designated representative, is the CITY's administrator for <br />this Agreement. <br />The CITY's designated representative will communicate with the DISTRICT on <br />all matters related to the administration of this, Agreement. When this Agreement <br />refers to approvals from the CITY those communications will be designated <br />representative, unless otherwise specified. <br />Written communication to the CITY shall be sent to: <br />Office of the City Manager <br />123 Main St <br />Pleasanton, CA 94566 <br />Written communication to the DISTRICT shall be sent to: <br />Office of the Superintendent or Designee <br />4665 Bernal Ave <br />Pleasanton, CA 94566-7498 <br />C. CONTROL AND JURISDICTION <br />Prevention, education, training and pro -active activities will take place at the <br />Pleasanton District High Schools and each of their feeder middle schools, and at <br />public meeting places within the respective communities located in the City of <br />Pleasanton as such activity relates to the above schools. <br />The SROs will always remain under the discretion and control of the Pleasanton <br />Police Department. The SROs employment rights, promotional and training <br />opportunities and fringe benefits shall not be abridged by the Pleasanton Police <br />Department. Emergency requests for police services shall be made by calling <br />Pleasanton Police Department Communications at 911. Non -emergency requests <br />for police services will be communicated from the DISTRICT to the CITY at <br />(925) 931-5100 or may be made via the School Resource Officer in certain <br />instances. <br />Page 4 of 13 <br />
