American Ramp Company has experience
installing natural surface trails in the Bay Area and is an active member of the
Professional Trailbuilder's Association.
All bid documents were found to be in order and references for the contractor were
verified.
After the development approval, staff modified the plans to specify approximately 150
linear feet of five -foot -wide decomposed granite path along Foothill Road instead of the
proposed dirt trail. Although the decomposed granite path requires additional funding for
the project, it is a more resilient and low -maintenance solution for the portion of the trail
adjacent to the road.
Schedule
The proposed schedule for this project is as follows:
Approval of Plans and Specifications and Award of Contract
Estimated Start of Construction
Estimated End of Construction
Submitted by:
Stephen ick
Director of Engineering
Reviewed by:
XI/4-
Tina Olson
Director of Finance
Attachments:
1.
