BACKGROUND
Team Glass was selected as the as -needed contractor for the repair and installation of
glass windows and storefront doors for City facilities in FY 2019/20. The current
agreement is for three years with an option for two, one-year extensions. The City's
building inventory includes 130 facilities and most have windows and storefront doors
that require repair and maintenance.
DISCUSSION
During recent facility inspections, staff identified security and ADA issues at the Amador
Recreation Center, Police Department, and Operations Service Center, resulting in the
replacement of the facility's storefront doors. These replacements require the
agreement with Team Glass to be increased. Therefore, staff is requesting that the
agreement with Team Glass be increased to a not -to -exceed amount of $150,000 to
cover these installations and any other unforeseen repairs through the term of the
agreement. Per the City's Purchasing policy, any agreement over $100,000 must be
approved by City Council.
Submitted by:
Kathleen Yurchak
Director of Operations and
Water Utilities
Attachments:
Fiscal Review:
.. /Al
t
Tina Olson
Director of Finance
1.
