Las Positas Boulevard <br /> Pleasanton, California <br /> Dear Mr. Ho: <br /> As requested, BSK Associates (BSK) is pleased to present this proposal to the City of Pleasanton (City) to <br /> perform a geotechnical pavement investigation for the planned road reconstruction along West Las <br /> Positas Boulevard from Hopyard Road to Stoneridge Drive (Site).We have also included options to extend <br /> our investigation along West Las Positas from 1-680 to Hopyard Road and from Stoneridge Drive to Santa <br /> Rita Road.The purpose of our investigation will be to provide geotechnical recommendations and possible <br /> mitigation options for the project. We have based our proposal on the following: <br /> • Our site meeting with you on Monday, May 24, 2021, and communications with you and Mr. <br /> Adam Nelkie with the City, <br /> • Review of the existing geotechnical reports, provided by the City, for the area near the Site, <br /> including reports by Kleinfelderl and Engeo2, near Tassajara Creek, <br /> • Our experience with Bay Area soils, and <br /> • Our experience with similar projects. <br /> The following subsections present discussions regarding our understanding of the project, as well as a <br /> description of our proposed scope of services, our fee estimate, project schedule, and project limitations <br /> for your consideration. <br /> BSK is committed to providing quality service to its clients, commensurate with their wants, needs and <br /> desired level of risk.
