Terra Landscape Company was awarded the previous <br /> miscellaneous landscape services contract and has carried out the duties assigned in <br /> the contract to the satisfaction of the Parks Maintenance Division. <br /> Funding is budgeted in the Parks Maintenance operating budget for miscellaneous <br /> landscape maintenance from outside contractors. This proposed agreement includes <br /> landscape maintenance at the following areas: <br /> • City owned medians <br /> • Main Street planters <br /> • Main Street sidewalk blowing <br /> • Fire stations 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 <br /> • Transportation Corridor. <br /> Staff recommends that the City enter into a three-year agreement with Terra Landscape <br /> starting September 22, 2021, for a not-to-exceed amount of$2,029,542, which includes <br /> $300,000 for Main Street planter renovations and a ten percent contingency for <br /> maintenance services at various City owned landscapes as shown in the table below: <br /> Bid Amount $1,572,311 <br /> 10% Contingency 157,231 <br /> Main Street Planters 300 000 <br /> 3-year Total $2,029,542 <br /> The ten percent contingency is for unforeseen circumstances and related extra services <br /> as determined necessary by the City. <br /> Submitted by: Fiscal Review: Approve by: <br /> (2e , L <br /> Kathleen Yurchak r Tina Olson Nelson Fialho <br /> Director of Operations Director of Finance City Manager <br /> and Water Utilities <br /> Attachment: <br /> 1.
