PROJECT PLANS: The tree protection recommendations from the arborist report shall be <br /> printed on the demolition, grading and landscape plans where applicable to the <br /> satisfaction of the City Landscape Architect prior to issuance of building permits. (Project <br /> Specific Condition) <br /> 126. DUBLIN CANYON ROAD TREES: The Dublin Canyon Road frontage trees shall be <br /> primarily native oak trees with all tree locations and species subject to the review and <br /> approval of the City's Landscape Architecture Division. (Project Specific Condition) <br /> 127. PARKING LOT TREES: There shall be a minimum of 50 percent shade cover in the <br /> parking area within 15 years. There shall be a minimum of 20 percent shade cover in any <br /> commercial landscape areas within 15 years. There shall be a minimum of 20 percent <br /> shade cove over any hardscape areas in a non-residential environment within 15 years. <br /> Shade requirements shall be based on the City of Pleasanton Shade Tree Guidelines for <br /> Commercial Properties. (Project Specific Condition) <br /> OPERATIONS SERVICES DEPARTMENT — ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES/UTILITIES <br /> DIVISION — 925-931-5500 <br /> 128. BACKFLOW PREVENTION ASSEMBLIES: Backflow preventer assemblies shall be <br /> designed and installed in accordance with current City Standards 704, 705, 706; State <br /> Health and Safety Code; Title 17; and as required by the Director of Operations and Water <br /> Utilities. All backflow preventer assemblies shall be tested and certified by a City approved <br /> tester with the certification submitted to the City's contractor, Aqua Backflow. Testing will <br /> be performed at the time City water is turned on to the site. If an existing backflow <br /> preventer is on the site it shall be tested and certified by an approved tester with the <br /> certification submitted to the City's contractor, Aqua Backflow, before project water is <br /> drawn through it. An all-weather cover shall be placed over all backflow prevention <br /> assemblies 4 inch and smaller. <br /> 129. RECYCLED WATER: Recycled water should be used on site during the grading and <br /> construction period. However, under any declared stage of water shortage, recycled water <br /> must be used throughout the grading and construction period. <br /> TRAFFIC ENGINEERING DIVISION —925-931-5677 <br /> Bicycle Parking <br /> 130. BICYCLE PARKING: Projects with 20 or more vehicle parking spaces shall provide <br /> minimum bicycle parking equivalent to five percent of the total number of vehicle parking <br /> spaces, with a maximum of 20 required bicycle parking spaces. Bicycle parking shall be <br /> shown on the building permit plans for review and approval by the Traffic Engineering <br /> Division prior to building permit submittal. <br /> 131. BICYCLE RACKS: All bicycle racks shall comply with the following criteria: <br /> a. Located in a visible and accessible location; <br /> b. Support the frame of the bicycle and not just one wheel; <br /> c. Allow the frame and one wheel to be locked to the rack; <br /> d. Allow the use of either a cable or U-shaped lock; <br /> e. Be securely anchored; <br />
