Ordinance No. <br />Page 26 <br />f. Be usable by bikes with no kickstand; and <br />g. Be usable by a wide variety of bicycle sizes and types. <br />The number, location and type of bicycle racks shall be shown on the building permit plans <br />and shall be subject to review and approval by the City Traffic Engineer prior to issuance <br />of building permits. <br />Traffic Control <br />132. TRAFFIC CONTROL PLAN (TCP): A comprehensive traffic control plan shall be submitted <br />to the City Traffic Engineer for review and approval. Best management practices to <br />minimize traffic impacts shall be used during construction, including scheduling of major <br />truck trips and deliveries, to avoid peak travel hours. The TCP shall have proper lane <br />closure procedures such as flagger stations, signage, cones, and other warning devices <br />implemented during construction. The TCP shall also include time of day/hours of lane <br />closures and total number of days. <br />133. TRUCK ROUTES: The haul route for all materials to and from the project site shall be <br />reviewed and approved by the City Traffic Engineer prior to building permit issuance and <br />shall include the provision to monitor the street surfaces used for the haul route so that <br />any damage and debris attributable to the haul trucks is identified and corrected at the <br />expense of the applicant. <br />134. TRAFFIC SIGNAGE AND STRIPING — ON SITE: All on site traffic related signage and <br />striping shall be included in the building permits plans for review and approval by the City <br />Traffic Engineer prior to building permit issuance. <br />135. TRAFFIC SIGNAGE AND STRIPING — OFF SITE: All off site traffic related signage and <br />striping shall be included in the improvement plans for review and approval by the City <br />Traffic Engineer prior to permit issuance. <br />136. TRAFFIC IMPACT FEES: The applicant shall pay any traffic impact fees for the <br />development as determined by the City Traffic Engineer. The fee shall be paid prior to <br />building permit issuance. <br />137. PARKING STALL DIMENSIONS: 9'x19' standard stall (9'x17' with 2' overhang over <br />planted areas or curbs) and 8'x16' compact stall (8'x15' with 1' overhang over planted <br />areas or curbs). If adjacent to a sidewalk in a residential site then the adjacent sidewalk <br />shall be 6' minimum. If adjacent to a sidewalk in a commercial development then the <br />adjacent sidewalk shall be 8' minimum. <br />a. CORNER STALL DIMENSIONS: Stalls that are perpendicular to one another at a <br />corner location shall provide a 2' buffer for each stall at the corner location. <br />END <br />
