• Overview of City's rules and regulations for conversion to recycled water service. <br /> • Walk through inspection of irrigated area, irrigation facilities, storm water features <br /> surrounding irrigation, and general site amenities surrounding proposed recycled water use <br /> areas to assess compliance with City's recycled water regulations. <br /> • Coverage test inspection will be performed to verify proper operation of the irrigation <br /> system. Otherwise, coverage inspection will be scheduled. <br /> • Put together a list of all necessary changes needed/punch list to bring site into <br /> compliance. <br /> • Provide follow up inspection with site representative(s)to ensure all corrections have <br /> been satisfactorily addressed. <br /> Task 3. Cross-Connection testing by a Cross-Connection Control Specialist certified through the <br /> American Water Work Association (AWWA). <br /> Contractor will perform cross-connection testing following Section 5.5.2 of the City's Recycled Water <br /> User Guidelines(http://admin.cityofpleasantonca.gov/civicax/filebank/blobdload.aspx?BIobID=27354). <br /> For sites not yet converted to recycled water,the test will be performed on potable water only for both <br /> domestic and irrigation services. <br /> Contractor may also be requested to perform a pressure differential cross-connection test. <br /> Test results will be provided to City Recycled Water Program, signed by the Contractor's AWWA <br /> certified Cross-Connection Control Specialist. <br /> • Follow up inspection: If a punch list is generated as a result of the testing, a follow up <br /> inspection may be required to ensure any corrections necessary were satisfactorily <br /> addressed. <br /> Task 4. Plan review services for recycled water compliance of new or rehabilitation projects <br /> Under general direction from City staff, plan reviews/plan check will include the following at a <br /> minimum: <br /> • Evaluation for general compliance with City and State regulatory recycled water <br /> compliance, as applicable. If plans are not in general compliance, contractor will provide a <br /> list of identified concerns with reference to plan section. <br /> Task 5. GIS mapping of irrigation/notable recycled water site features on recycled water sites <br /> As requested by City staff, contractor will provide mapping of site's potable and recycled water feature <br /> locations and types, such as: meters, backflow devices and sizes, drinking fountain(s),quick coupler <br /> valves, remote control valves, recycled water signs, gate valves, eating areas, and other related features <br /> 7IPa2- e <br />
