The proposed project would not result in the conversion of any designated Farmlands to <br />non-agricultural uses. According to the California Department of Conservation Farmland Mapping <br />and Monitoring Program, the project site is designated Urban and Built-Up Land.11 The nearest land <br />designated as Prime Farmland, Unique Farmland, or Farmland of Statewide Importance is an area of <br />Unique Farmland located along Vineyard Avenue in the eastern portion of the City of Pleasanton, <br />5.29 miles southeast of the project site. Therefore, no impact would occur. <br />b) Conflict with existing zoning for agricultural use, or a Williamson Act contract? <br />No impact. The project site is not zoned or used for agriculture and is not subject to a Williamson <br />Act contract. Current zoning on the project site is C-R (p), which permits retail and office uses. <br />Therefore, the proposed project would not conflict with existing zoning for agricultural uses or a <br />Williamson Act contract. No impact would occur. <br />c) Conflict with existing zoning for, or cause rezoning of, forest land (as defined in Public Resources <br />Code Section 12220(g)), timberland (as defined by Public Resources Code Section 4526), or <br />timberland zoned Timberland Production (as defined by Government Code Section 51104(g))? <br />No impact. The project site does not contain any lands designated as forest land, timberland, or <br />timberland zoned Timberland Production, and is not zoned for forest or timberland uses. The <br />nearest forested area is located more than 0.5 mile west of the project site, in the area of the <br />Pleasanton Ridge Regional Park.12 Therefore, the proposed project would not conflict with existing <br />zoning for forest land, nor would it cause the rezoning of forestland, timberland, or Timberland <br />Production lands. No impact would occur. <br />d) Result in the loss of forest land or conversion of forest land to non-forest use? <br />No impact. The project site does not contain any forest lands, nor would it result in the conversion of <br />forest land to non-forest uses. Trees on the project site consist of ornamental landscaped trees and <br />shrubs. Therefore, No impact would occur. <br />e) Involve other changes in the existing environment which, due to their location or nature, could result <br />in conversion of Farmland, to non-agricultural use or conversion of forest land to non-forest use? <br />No impact. As discussed previously, the project site does not contain any Farmland, and there are no <br />Farmlands located adjacent to or near the project site. Furthermore, there are no forestlands on or <br />adjacent to the project site. This condition precludes the possibility of converting Farmland to non- <br />agricultural uses or forestland to non-forest uses.
