THE CITY OF 7
CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT
iii.fii r
pLEASANTON_
June 1, 2021
Community Development
Traffic Engineering Division
TITLE: APPROVE THE RIGHT OF WAY TRANSFER OF SIX PARCELS TO
CALTRANS FOR THE ORIGINAL CONSTRUCTION OF THE 1-680 AND
STONERIDGE DRIVE INTERCHANGE (CONSTRUCTED 1989)
SUMMARY
The Stoneridge Drive interchange was constructed in the late 1980's. The final
documentation transferring Right of Way (ROW) from the City of Pleasanton to Caltrans
was never completed. Caltrans has requested that the ROW transfer be completed prior
to their issuance of any encroachment permits for the Stoneridge Drive at 1-680
northbound on-ramp project.
There are six parcels that were dedicated by deed and included on the parcel maps for
the existing ramps, but those parcels never completed the dedication process.
Documentation to complete the transfer has now been finalized.
RECOMMENDATION
1. Approve the Right of Way transfer to Caltrans for the six parcels, as indicated in
the Attachments to this report.
2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the land transfer documentation.
FINANCIAL STATEMENT
The transfer of right of way from the City to Caltrans does not have any financial impact.
