THE CITY OF 2 <br /> pLEASANTON CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> June 1, 2021 <br /> City Attorney <br /> TITLE: INTRODUCTION OF AN OMNIBUS ORDINANCE AMENDING THE <br /> MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING: §6.40.070 CORRECT REFERENCE TO <br /> TAXI BUSINESS LICENSE TAX; §14.04.130 WATER SERVICE <br /> DISCONNECTION PER STATE LAW; §§17.08.150 AND 17.08.180 UPDATE <br /> CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS FOR FLOOD PROTECTION; §17.16.020 <br /> REPLACEMENT TREES; TITLE 18 ZONING - UPDATE DEFINITIONS, FIX <br /> INTERNAL REFERENCES, CLARIFY BODY ART FACILITIES, REORDER <br /> ZONING UNIT MAPS AND CORRECT TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS; AND <br /> ADOPT RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE TO <br /> CORRECT REFERENCE TO BUSINESS LICENSE TAX <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The omnibus ordinance and related resolution amending the Master Fee Schedule is an <br /> annual process to update the Pleasanton Municipal Code to reflect applicable changes <br /> in State law, reflect current practices, delete out-of-date references, and correct <br /> typographical errors. Also proposed is a resolution amending the Master Fee Schedule <br /> to correct the reference to the business license tax in Pleasanton Municipal Code <br /> Chapter 5.12. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Introduce the omnibus ordinance and adopt the resolution amending the Master Fee <br /> Schedule. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT <br /> The Pleasanton Municipal Code changes will have no fiscal impact. The change to the <br /> Master Fee Schedule also will have no fiscal impact, as it simply corrects a reference to <br /> the business license tax in the Pleasanton Municipal Code. <br />
