THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS CLOSED Commissioner Allen stated she really liked the design of the buildings and the quality of the project. Commissioner Gaidos agreed with Commissioner Allen. Commissioner Pace expressed his excitement about the project. Commissioner Ritter moved to approve Case P21-0136. Commissioner Pace seconded the motion. ROLL CALL VOTE: AYES: Commissioners Allen, Brown, Gaidos, Pace, and Ritter NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None Resolution PC-2021-05 approving Case P21-0136 was adopted as submitted. MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW/ACTION/INFORMATION 6. Reports from Meetings Attended (e.g., Committee, Task Force, etc.) Commissioners Gaidos and Nibert mentioned their attendance at the Planning Commissioner Academy. Commissioner Ritter reported on the Chamber 2020 Meeting. 7. Actions of the City Council Ms. Clark noted there had not been a City Council meeting since the last Planning Commission meeting, therefore no items to report. 8. Future Planning Calendar Planning and Permit Center Manager Melinda Denis gave a brief overview of future items for the Commission's review. MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS All Commissioners thanked Commissioner Ritter for his service on the Planning Commission. Ron Culmer provided his support related to the project, asked about the trash enclosure and requested the parking remain as currently exist. Ms. Soo stated the trash enclosure doors would not encroach on parking and parking would be restricted during trash collection times. Mark Hoffman provided his support related to the project and mentioned the design would improve the existing look of the building. Ed Broome provided his support related to the project and asked if the mature pine trees would be removed. Ms. Soo stated the arborist report indicated they would be retained. The applicant and Ms. Soo addressed the comments and concerns from Mr. Miller and provided closing remarks.
