have been approved in other locations surrounded by residential development, this project is in <br />a rural setting and additional review may be considered. <br />Staff continues to request the overall building heights of the multi-purpose building and all <br />portion of the sanctuary building except for the dome be reduced to 30 -feet or below, but is <br />supportive of an allowance for the dome of the church building to exceed that height. Staff is <br />requesting the Planning Commission's input on the appropriate height for the church buildings <br />and dome. At the time of report publication, staff has received <br />30 letters in support of the project from the public. Any public comments received after <br />publication of this report will be forwarded to the Commission. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT <br />Since the Planning Commission will take no formal action on the project at the work session, <br />no environmental document accompanies this work session report.
