As of February 1, the Bay
Area region's ICU availability was 18 percent and Alameda County's ICU availability
was 28 percent. Based on the current rate of 24 cases per 100,000 residents as a 7-day
average, Alameda County is now operating in the most restrictive Purple Tier, along
with most counties in the Bay Area region. The data trend shows that under current
conditions, COVID cases are decreasing; transition to the less restrictive Red Tier will
happen when the County's 7-day average decreases to less than 7 cases per 100,000
residents.
The chart below offers a snapshot of the cumulative case counts as of February 8, 2021.
Additional data, including the 14-day rolling average, is included in the summary report.
Confirmed COVID Cases-Weekly Summary
Week
2/2 2/3 2/4 2/5 2/6 2/7 2/8 Total
Pleasanton 1934(11) 1939 (5) 1950 (11) 1954 (4) 1963 (9) 1969 (6) 1976(7) +53
Livermore 3809 (17) 3833 (24) 3840 (7) 3846 (6) 3860 (14) 3874(14) 3881 (7) +89
Dublin 1412 (9) 1420 (8) 1435 (15) 1443 (8) 1447 (4) 1451 (4) 1454 (3) +51
Alameda 74572 (260) 74930 (358) 75359 (429) 75669 (310) 76138 (469) 76465 (327) 76690 (225) +2378
Co
California 3281k (11k) 3294k(13k) 3308k(14k) 3321k(12k) 3336k(15k) 3346k (10k) 3355k(8k) +84k
US 26.3m(117k) 26.5m(124k) 26.6m(131k) 26.7m(115k) 26.8m(96k) 26.9m(78k) 27m(93k) +753k
AC Deaths 982 991 999 1011 1021 1041 1051 71
Page 4 of 6
