0 <br /> CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMSDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 479 <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF <br /> CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED <br /> AS ANNEXATION NO. 41, HANSEN-GIGER <br /> HONE RANCH ANNEX <br /> The City Council does hereby ordain as follows : <br /> SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby wake the following <br /> findings: (a) On January 3, 1967, the Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton adopted Resolution No. 67-1, declaring annexation <br /> proceedings initiated by City Council, and giving notice of the <br /> proposal to annex certain uninhabited territory to the City of <br /> Pleasanton. Said territory was designated as Annexation No. 41, <br /> Hansen-Giger Home Ranch Annex, and did describe the boundaries of <br /> the territory proposed to be annexed. <br /> (b) Said Resolution No. 67-1 contained a notice of the <br /> time and place for the Council of the City of Pleasanton to hear <br /> protests â–ºwade by any person owning real property within the <br /> territory proposed to be annexed. Said time of said hearing was <br /> not less than fifteen nor more than sixty days from the date of <br /> passage of the Resolution. <br /> (c) On February 27, 1967, at the hour of 8:00 P.M. , in <br /> the Council Chambers at the Women's Club Building, southwest corner <br /> of Vineyard and Regalia Avenues of the City of Pleasanton, County <br /> of Alameda, State of California, the said City Council did conduct <br /> a public hearing and pass upon protests made. By Resolution <br /> No. 67-38 the City Council determined that protests had not been <br /> made by the owners of one-half of the value of the privately owned <br /> territory proposed to be annexed as shown by the last equalized <br /> assessment roll, nor by public owners of one-half of the value of <br /> - 1 - <br />
