Staff recommends approving Amendment No. 1 with CSI, increasing the <br /> contract by $2,505.11 for a total not-to-exceed amount of $102,458 for the additional <br /> inspection services (see Attachment 2). <br /> MurraySmith, formerly a part of Quincy Engineering, provided construction support <br /> services for the project. These services included reviewing shop drawings and other <br /> submittals, providing responses to requests for information during construction, and <br /> conducting the pre-sandblast and post-sandblast inspections needed to identify all <br /> required metal repairs on all three tank interiors. In addition, their subcontractors <br /> reviewed the installation and start-up of the temporary variable-frequency drive pumping <br /> system.
