BACKGROUND <br /> Pimlico Drive, between 3897 Brockton Drive and 3783 Pimlico Drive, consists of a <br /> mixture of multi-family and single-family residences on the south side and the 1-580 <br /> freeway sound wall on the north side.The north side of Pimlico Drive has consistently <br /> experienced parking of oversized vehicles such as recreational vehicles, moving trucks, <br /> oversized commercial vehicles,and long trailers. Residents have raised concerns that <br /> this section of Pimlico Drive has become a location for vehicle storage which has <br /> subsequently resulted in debris and garbage left behind in the area. <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> Pleasanton Municipal Code 11.36.180 requires the City Council to adopt a resolution to <br /> implement a parking restriction of vehicles more than twenty feet in length. <br /> Upon approval by the City Council,the City Traffic Engineer will erect signs giving <br /> notice of said parking restrictions along approximately 1,500 feet of the north side of <br /> Pimlico Drive.The area is outlined in the attached location map. <br /> u mitte by: Fisc I eview: Approved y: <br /> U <br /> Ellen Clark l Tina Olson Nelson Fialho <br /> Director of Director of Finance City Manager <br /> Community Development <br /> Attachments: <br /> 1.
