Memorandum <br /> Subject: Scope of Work for Augustin Bernal MBT Design Services <br /> 2.2 85% PS&Es <br /> Based upon the preliminary alignment, Dudek will prepare 85%Plans,Specifications and Estimates for the Augustin <br /> Bernal Mountain Bike Trail. We anticipate that the plan set will comprise twelve 22" x 34" or 24" x 36" sheets at <br /> 20-scale,and will consist the following: <br /> • Cover sheet(1 sheet), <br /> • General notes(1 sheet) <br /> • Layout plan & notes(4 sheets), <br /> • Details(3 sheets) <br /> • Special Provisions(2 sheets) <br /> In addition to the plans,the construction documents will include an estimate of probable cost.This scope assumes <br /> that the City will provide the specifications package to which the above construction drawings will be attached. <br /> Special Provision sheets will be prepared in lieu of technical specifications and will dictate materials and installation <br /> requirements for the new trail. <br /> The cost estimate will be based upon similar projects which we have constructed in the last 5 years, material and <br /> labor estimates, and our professional experience and include a description, unit identification, quantity, unit cost <br /> and total cost for each item. <br /> 85% PS&Es will be delivered to the City in electronic(PDF)format for review. <br /> 2.3 Final PS&Es <br /> Upon receipt of the 85%PS&E comments, Dudek will meet via conference call with the City to discuss the comments <br /> and any final changes to the construction document package,then advance the PS&Es to the 100%complete level. <br /> As indicated in section 1.3 of this scope, final drawings will be reviewed by a senior landscape architect using <br /> Dudek's QA/QC process. Drawings and specifications will be stamped and signed by a landscape architect <br /> registered in the State of California, and electronic (PDF) copies will be delivered to the City for assembling of the <br /> bid package. Hardcopies can also be produced upon request. A comment matrix will also be provided with Final <br /> PS&Es noting how City comments on the 85%submittal were addressed. <br /> Cost for Task 2 $13,920.00 <br /> TOTAL TIME AND MATERIALS NOT TO EXCEED COST $22,680.00 <br /> P220397 <br /> D U D E K 3 October 2020 <br />
