6 <br /> THE CITY OF <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLEASANTON© <br /> October 20, 2020 <br /> Operations Services <br /> TITLE: RATIFY LEASE AGREEMENT WITH ROYAL RESTROOMS FOR THE <br /> NOT-TO-EXCEED AMOUNT OF $138,000 FOR PORTABLE <br /> RESTROOMS AT THE OPERATIONS SERVICE CENTER <br /> SUMMARY <br /> As part of the City's re-entry plan in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, additional <br /> restroom facilities are required to support bringing back Operations Services <br /> Department employees in compliance with the Alameda County Heath Order. Royal <br /> Restrooms will be providing one (1) two stall single use restroom and one (1) two stall <br /> single use restroom with shower. The additional restrooms will support the Parks and <br /> Utilities Divisions' field staff for a duration extending through September 2021. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Ratify the executed lease agreements by the City with Royal Restrooms for one (1) two <br /> single use restroom and one (1) two single use restroom with shower for a not-to- <br /> exceed amount of$138,000 which includes a 15% contingency. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The Capital Improvement Budget includes a $1 million allocation to help the City <br /> respond to local emergencies related to COVID-19 that will fund the proposed lease. <br /> The total amount to lease the restrooms for a one-year period is $138,000 which <br /> includes a 15% contingency. <br />
