5 <br /> THE CITY OF <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> PLEASANTONL <br /> October 20, 2020 <br /> Operations Services <br /> TITLE: RATIFY LEASE AGREEMENT WITH PACIFIC MOBILE STRUCTURES <br /> FOR THE NOT-TO-EXCEED AMOUNT OF $162,325 FOR TEMPORARY <br /> OFFICE TRAILERS AT OPERATIONS SERVICE CENTER <br /> SUMMARY <br /> As part of the City's re-entry plan in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the <br /> Operations Services Department (OSD) needs additional office space to comply with <br /> the Alameda County Health Order to maintain social distancing between employees. <br /> Temporary trailers will be required to accommodate the additional staff on-site. The <br /> trailers will include two (2) large 24' x 60' office configurations to act as crew space and <br /> two (2) smaller 10' x 32' open configurations to act as locker rooms. The trailer <br /> configurations will support the Parks and Utilities Divisions' field staff through <br /> September 2021 . <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Ratify the executed lease agreements by the City Manager with Pacific Mobile <br /> Structures, Inc. for two (2) 24' x 60' office rentals and two (2) 10' x 32' office rentals for <br /> a not to exceed amount of$162,325 which includes a 15% contingency. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The Capital Improvement Budget includes a $1 million allocation to help the City <br /> respond to emergencies related to COVID-19 that will fund the proposed lease. The <br /> total amount to lease four (4) trailers for a one-year period is $141,152.90. Staff is <br /> including a 15% contingency which brings the total to $162,325. <br />
