(c) Violation of any provision of this ordinance. <br /> <br /> (d) Conducting the activity authorized in the per- <br /> mit in an unlawful manner or in such a manner <br /> as to cause a breach of the peace or as to <br /> constitute a menace to the health, safety or <br /> general welfare of the public. <br /> <br /> (e) Conviction of any felony or of a misdemeanor <br /> involving the violation of a city or county <br /> ordinance regulating any business, or of a <br /> misdemeanor involving moral turpitude, or if <br /> the moral character and/or financial responsi- <br /> bility of the applicant is otherwise unsatis- <br /> factory as determined from the reputation of <br /> the applicant. <br /> <br />Section 9. Solicitation for Charitable Purposes <br /> <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person to go upon the <br /> premises of any private residence in the City of <br /> Pleasanton, without an invitation by the person in <br /> possession of said premises, for the purpose of solici- <br /> ting contributions for any charitable purpose without <br /> having first applied for and obtained a permit so to <br /> do from the Chief of Police. <br /> <br />Section 10. Solicitation for Charitable Purposes: Permit Procedure <br /> An application for a permit to engage in the activities <br /> referred to in Section 9 shall comply with the require- <br /> ments of Section 5 of this ordinance; provided, howeveI <br /> an applicant for a permit under Section 9 of this ordi- <br /> nance shall not be required to pay an application fee. n <br /> application for a permit to engage in the activities <br /> referred to in Section 9 shall in addition provide the <br /> following information: <br /> <br /> (1) The purpose of the proposed solicitation and the <br /> use to which any contribution will be devoted. <br /> (2) The name of any organization on whose behalf <br /> contributions are to be solicited, its address <br /> and the names of its principal officers. <br /> <br />Section 11. Solicitation for Charitable Purposes: Investiqation: <br /> Determination <br /> <br /> The Chief of Police shall conduct his investigation as <br /> provided in Section 5 of this ordinance; provided, how- <br /> ever, that he shall consider the purposes of the <br /> <br /> -5- <br /> <br /> <br />
