(c) Violation of any provision of this ordinance. (d) Conducting the activity authorized in the per- mit in an unlawful manner or in such a manner as to cause a breach of the peace or as to constitute a menace to the health, safety or general welfare of the public. (e) Conviction of any felony or of a misdemeanor involving the violation of a city or county ordinance regulating any business, or of a misdemeanor involving moral turpitude, or if the moral character and/or financial responsi- bility of the applicant is otherwise unsatis- factory as determined from the reputation of the applicant. Section 9. Solicitation for Charitable Purposes It shall be unlawful for any person to go upon the premises of any private residence in the City of Pleasanton, without an invitation by the person in possession of said premises, for the purpose of solici- ting contributions for any charitable purpose without having first applied for and obtained a permit so to do from the Chief of Police. Section 10. Solicitation for Charitable Purposes: Permit Procedure An application for a permit to engage in the activities referred to in Section 9 shall comply with the require- ments of Section 5 of this ordinance; provided, howeveI an applicant for a permit under Section 9 of this ordi- nance shall not be required to pay an application fee. n application for a permit to engage in the activities referred to in Section 9 shall in addition provide the following information: (1) The purpose of the proposed solicitation and the use to which any contribution will be devoted. (2) The name of any organization on whose behalf contributions are to be solicited, its address and the names of its principal officers. Section 11. Solicitation for Charitable Purposes: Investiqation: Determination The Chief of Police shall conduct his investigation as provided in Section 5 of this ordinance; provided, how- ever, that he shall consider the purposes of the -5-
