Continued to June 2, 2020 Approve five-year contract with Axon Enterprise, Inc. in the amount <br />of $1,362,700 for a comprehensive service package for body worn cameras, conducted energy <br />devices and electronic evidence storage <br />Vice Mayor Narum opened public comment. <br />Annie Tegen, Tobacco -Free Kids, expressed support for Item 4. She commented that Tobacco -Free <br />Kids is a national non-profit who has seen many lawsuits and feels the City of Pleasanton will come out <br />ahead of any litigation. <br />Amaya Wooding, Co -Chair Proudly Against Tobacco (PAT) Coalition, expressed support for Item No. <br />04 and encouraged Pleasanton to join other cities in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties in an <br />ordinance against flavored tobacco. <br />Rosalyn Moya expressed support for Item No. 04 and commented that 95% of the participants in a <br />recent public opinion poll support a ban on the sale of flavored tobacco products. <br />Joseph Haddad, owner of Cigar Parlor and Tobacco Hut, expressed his opposition for Item 4. He <br />advised he recently had his store approved and would be selling vape, cigars pipe, tobacco flavored <br />electronic cigarettes and the ban would close his business. He also advised the increase of the <br />minimum price imposed on premium cigars and pipe tobacco has also hurt his business. <br />Blythe Young.
