before testifying about an incident and prior to being interviewed during an <br />administrative investigation. <br />The policy requires all video be retained for two years and explains procedures to <br />request a video be deleted in the case of accidental activation while on an authorized <br />break or in a restroom. The policy requires any body worn camera video used for <br />training purposes to be approved by a Division Commander. <br />The policy allows supervisors to periodically audit officers' activation of body worn <br />cameras. The practice and expectation of department supervisors is to conduct an audit <br />of each officer's body worn camera activations on at least a monthly basis.
