The proposed hours of operation would be Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Each lesson would last approximately 30 to 90 minutes with a five-minute break between each lesson period. All lessons would be one on one with up to five lessons occurring concurrently. Up to two students would be permitted to arrive and wait for their lessons inside the facility lobby/reception area. Collectively, up to five students and five instructors (12 people total if two students are waiting and all music rooms are occupied) would be on-site at any one time. The current condominium floor plan configuration consists of a reception area, six offices, storage and a break room. Except for the storage room, all other rooms would be repurposed. The reception area would be split into an office, lobby/reception area and a music room. The break room would become an equipment room. All offices would become music instruction rooms (five total). All exterior entrances to the condominium would remain in use and there would be no physical connection to the adjacent existing music school in Suite 118. See Figure 3 for the proposed floor plan. The subject condominium has direct access to the parking areas that will be utilized by staff and parents dropping off and picking up students before and after each lesson. As a standard practice and policy, parents are not permitted to stay at the lessons.
